Course Details
There are number of institutes in India, which offer courses in the field of film and television. Most of them impart technical courses at the graduation level, whereas for other streams, courses are conducted at the postgraduate degree level. Moreover, film and TV courses are also offered in diploma, post graduate diploma and even certificate levels. In this field, students are taught about the wide aspects of film and television, which include production, direction, editing, cinematography, film processing, animation, acting, sound engineering, make up, photography etc. Talking about eligibility, one has to pass in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) in any stream, from any statutory Board. For the postgraduate courses, the students have to clear graduation recognized by any University. Final selection of the candidates is also based upon the aptitude tests and interviews to examine the talent of the candidates.

Remuneration in the field of film and television may vary from one organization to another. However, one can generally earn around Rs 3,00,000-3,60,000 per annum. However, it largely depends upon educational qualification, experience and also the nature of work.
